New Agenda For Kentucky

Have an idea that would benefit the state of Kentucky?  This is the first site of its kind in Kentucky, designed to collect the best ideas from around the state to solve real-world problems.

This is also a great source for business concepts that need developing for this year's Idea Fair.

Eric Mills, Eclub Founder who works on this fantastic project states, "We’re collecting ideas from all across the state and then the committee will review the ideas and submit the best 2 or 3 to the new (or re-elected) Governor in November."

Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds Program

Kentucky is implementing a program that will match both Phase 1 and Phase 2 federal SBIR and STTR awards to our high-tech small businesses – no other state has a program designed to do just that.

If you have a high-tech company in Kentucky, or are willing to locate in Kentucky, you could apply for funds from the commonwealth to match your federal SBIR-STTR awards.

Lexington ICC - Kentucky Enterprise Fund

The Kentucky Enterprise Fund is a series of pre-seed and seed stage capital funds that focus on the early stage commercialization of a product, technology, or process.

By encouraging the commercialization of innovative ideas, the Kentucky Enterprise Fund fosters competitive, profitable companies that create high paying jobs and wealth in Kentucky.

Building on Kentucky's knowledge based economy initiatives, the Kentucky Enterprise Fund fills the "Valley of Death" by addressing the challenges of early stage startups.

Companies seeking capital go through a rigorous due diligence process and are judged in terms of industry fit, return on investment and economic development goals.
